Mid-Suffolk Pediatrics mommies
Did your child have bloodwork at the 1-year well-visit, or another well visit?
DD is almost 16 months and they haven't sent her for bloodwork yet...no mention of it, and I see so many posts about other kids having it done at a year.
I do know that at her 9-month well-visit, when they did her vision test they also took a fingerprick blood sample, I believe they were testing for anemia...all came back fine. But I know they usually test for lead, etc. at 1+.

My whole family use them. My neices had it done at their 2 year old check up I think. I can ask my sister or sil.

I remember them doing blood only once. But then again, Daddy has taken her for some appointments too. I guess I am useless to answer this

Oh, OK, maybe it's at 2 years then. Since they did the finger-prick at 9 months.

We were given at script for the lead test at his 2 year visit I believe and still haven't done it  ....We actually just got back from my DS's 3 year well visit and were given a new script for it- Can't remember if we got anything at his one year though

We did not have a blood work up, but DS had a huge work up when he was in the hospital at 9 months, so I was thinking they used that.

I dont think we had blood work done for her 2 year well visit, unless Im totally forgetting. But we go there too, and Im pretty sure we didnt

We got a Rx for blood at his two year visit and still haven't done it! You just reminded me. That was over three months ago!
