Doctors-recommend-and Mid Suffolk Pediatrics related...
I am slightly concerned and dont know if I am overreacting or if I should consider changing. Gillian has gone to Mid-suffolk and while I really like the practice...she has NEVER really seen the same person more then once. (possibly serotoff twice). They told me serotoff is booked up and thats who we thought she would keep as a dr. From there we saw sooooo many other DRs.
I kinda feel like its turning into an ER for us...like whoever is there checks her out. I am not saying that person is not good but that she will never have a DR.
WOuld you change? If so can you give some recommendations?

We got to Mid Suffolk and we always see the same Dr. I switched from another practice where we were seeing different Drs everytime we went. I was told by Mid Suffolk that I could always see the same Dr. unless they weren't in that day and she was sick or something. We got to the office in Mt. Sinai-I'm not sure if that makes any difference.

We always saw the same doctor at the Mt. Sinai office too. The only time it was a problem was emergency visits. Do you request the same doctor when you make appointments?

I don't mind an office that has several doctors, but when I was looking for a ped, Mid-Suffolk was just too big for my taste. It is bigger than most big offices. We see a doctor in Commack now. FM me if you are interested in their info.

I also go to Mid Suffolk (Mt Sinai office) and I see the same doctor every time unless DS is sick and it is a last minute appointment. I usually schedule my next appointment when I am there so I am guaranteed to get the doctor I want.

i totally see where you are coming from...
our ped office is in seaford and they do the same thing. there are 4 dr and we see a different one each time. i dont like this either and am thinking of switching offices. i want to be able to build a relationship with my DS dr and its so hard this way!!
