Microdermabrasion
I bought and at home microdermabrasion kit from Avon, and am wondering if it's ok to do when pg - does anyone know?

I had one too and it was going to expire before my dd was born.. so the place put an exstension on it for me to have done after I had her.

really? I didn't know you couldn't havre a facial when pg - bummer - I was planning a girls weekend at a spa, now I need to rethink it, I love facials

I believe its b/c of the posibilty of infection. A good place will not due if they know your pregnant.

I never heard that you can not get a facial while pregnant.
I had a facial when I was about 9 weeks when I took my mother to a spa for mothers day. My doc said it was fine. I was happy since it was not allowed to have a massage that early. I have seen many spas offer mohter-to-be packages that include a prenatal massage & a basic facial.
I can see not getting any of the special facials that use different chemicals & things like that, but I see nothing wrong with a regualr basic facial.
