Not sure if I should post elsewhere (microdermabrasion and anti-aging treatment)

I am curious to see how many of you use a home microdermabrasion kit?

One of the teachers at work sells Mary Kay and we were discussing starting to treat for aging. I am apparently a few years late-Chat Icon

So, she said the best way to start is microdermabrasion once to twice a week and gave me a sample of Mary Kay's kit.

I love the initial results of the product, but am wondering if it is really all it's cracked up to be or if it is just the knew "gimmick"? I am also wondering how it compares to other products of lower (for example Loreal) to equal quality (If anyone else has used the Mary Kay one.)

If you do use a microdermabrasion regimen, please share what you use.

Also, any other suggestions for anti-aging treatments that you may be using would be appreciated.

I am 28, but have heard the age to begin is 25 . . .Chat Icon

If you're going to do microderm, I highly suggest that you get it professionally done. The results that you will get will clearly outdo anything you can do at home. You might also want to see a dermatologist to talk about your skin and what would be best for you.

I have been doing microderm since I was 26 and I am now 29. My skin is in the best condition that it's ever been in and I rarely break out.

Any questions, feel free to FM me!
