Michele31-Are you here?

I am pretty sick and I feel like my milk is drying up, is this normal? I know I am not drinking enough but I have strep and right now it is very hard to get anything down.

I didn't nurse Miranda at all yesterday, just pumped but my milk seemed pretty normal, actually a couple of pumpings were more than usual.

Again today I haven't nursed her because I just physically do not have the energy to sit for a nursing session.

I did take a Benadryl today so I am hoping that doesn't make it worse.

Any suggestions?
I called my LC but she hasnt called me back yet.

I'm not Michele31.

But here's some info - don't nurse if you've taken benadryl:

Infants are especially sensitive to the effects of antihistamines, and serious side effects could occur in a breast-feeding baby. Benadryl is not recommended if you are breast-feeding. Do not take Benadryl without first talking to your doctor if you are nursing a baby.http://www.drugs.com/benadryl.html

At one point during breastfeeding, I had a 103 fever and had very little milk because of it. I wound up in the hospital for dehydration. Please be careful and take care of yourself.

Thanks
I checked on Kellymom and it said it was compatible. I only took one. I will have my mom get me some claritin tomorrow which is preferred.

I am trying to push the liquids in. I just don't know if my milk will recover. I hope so. I just have so many supply issues.
