Merrick/Bellmore Restaurants
Has anyone been to Nicholas James or Thai Station in Merrick or The Mixing Bowl in Bellmore? Looking for a nice place to go with a friend tonight....

I went to the Mixing Bowl a number of years ago. Wasn't impressed. But I've really been wanting to go since Gordon Ramsay worked with them on Kitchen Nightmares.

Just to say, Mixing Bowl-also was there prior to their renovated place and I was impressed either but.......
my boss has gone back (her DH is GOOD friends with Mike) and the food is a lot better and she enjoyed it.
Worth a try.

You should try Nick D'Angelos on Sunrise Hwy in Merrick...yummy italian food :)

That is my favoritest restaurant ever....but i wanted to try something new!
I watched the Mixing Bowl episode of Kitchen Nightmares last night...i am so curious about how it is....

Love love love sage bistro.. my parents go there almost every week. They practically kept them in business last year when they did not have their liquor licence....
They were even great to my DD... yummy desserts..
