Men's Big and Tall sizes... OK for Tall and Thin?

Men's Big and Tall sizes... OK for Tall and Thin?
My brother in law is 6' 5". I bought him shirts fro JCP Big and tall. He's pretty thin though. Will it fit him ok or do I need to fine a just tall department (is there such a thing?). Thanks!

My DH shops at stores like that too, but mostly for dress shirts - the measurements fit tall and thin also. You go by the sleeve length (my DH is around 37") and the collar width - a thinner guy will be around 16", while bigger guys will be 18" or more. What size/style are the shirts you got?

DH is 6'4" and very thin and can't shop in big and tall stores.
He does well with Banana's tall sizes.

Eddie Bauer and LL Bean has great "tall" sizes. So does J.Crew.
