I've been having them daily. DH is about to toss me into the East River. I'm getting all the help I can but at this point, I think I need to quit my job and move into a psych ward.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm right there with you!!! I don't know where they're coming from, but I'm fine one minute and then I'm hysterical the next. So hysterical I can't calm myslef down. Just stopped meds after a chemical and we're taking a much needed break. I'm hoping that once my body is hormone free it will get better. Poor DH!! Don't know how he deals with me sometimes.

Re: Meltdowns

I am the same way...my emotions are a roller coaster and I have been soooo irrational lately. My poor dh doesn't know what to do...and if one more person tells me to relax it will happen...I may lose it.

First I want to say that whenever I see the subject line of this thread, I automatically think of those Bliss chocolate meltaway squares... They're little chocolates that literally melt in your mouth Chat Icon

Great now i want chocolate. Thanks.

I mean, I feel like I shouldnt be having meltdowns. Last night was a little nutty. I should be relatively stable at this point. I should be enjoying my forced break with poor DH and going out and having fun. But I'm a psycho instead.

no no no.. don't give yourself the pressure of saying what you SHOULD be doing!! Chat Icon What you SHOULD be doing, is feeling however you want to feel and experiencing the grief that goes along with a loss, especially after infertility!

The last thing you need now is to put pressure on yourself for how you think you should be feeling. Believe me, its been almost a year and a half since we lost my first baby and I am still grieving...

Re: Meltdowns

I just had one- twice. After AF showed up Chat Icon I had one. DH was very good and huggy and understanding.

MIL calls about 15 minutes ago to put on a random show. I'm like, "now?" She got upset that I questioned her, and I kinda gave it to her. Chat Icon Do you think I have time to give a flying bleep about a TV Show right now? DH is doing laundry, I'm doing dishes, and I dont have time for a show right now. Chat Icon

Poor DH.... I let him have it for no reason about his mom.... Chat Icon
