Oh, I love some of their stuff - their puzzles are great and they have these pretend foods - pizzas you can add toppings to and cut up and a birthday cake that does the same. My DD is really into pretend play (she is 4) and loves them!!

There are wood toys. Mostly puzzles.
I got a few wood bloks for DS for Christmas which I felt were more of his age.

I love M&D because....they are wooden, not plastic. They last forever. Kids love them. And they don't have a TON OF PACKAGING!!!  (My biggest pet peeve with toys right now - which is why I may only shop M&D & Ikea from now on!)
