Meet our Little guy with pics and quick Birth story
We are home and I'm finally getting a chance to get on the computer. Sean Patrick was born on 5/5/07 at 1:53 pm (good boy not waking mommy in the middle of the night) He is 7lbs 15 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. His big brother and sis ter are so excited. My dd has already tried to feed him her bottle and climb in his bassinet.
Anyway quick birth story literally! I woke up at around 9 am and began to start my day. At around 10 am I had some pain but nothing different than any other morning. Then I realized that this pain wasn't going away. I of course got on the phone with my mom and decided to take a shower. I called the midwife and she told me to come right in quickly. I got to the hospital at noon. I was 6 cm. I was breathing through everything. It was ok. My husband went to the car to get my other bags. At that time I decided to take a shower to help with the pain. i don't know what made me ask but I asked my midwife to check me. Thank god she did because I was 9cm. She said if I got in the shower chances are my water would have broken. She said if she broke my water this baby would come now. I said go for it. She picked up her cell phone and called my dh and said get back here now!
She broke my water, let my mom step in to deliver the baby. Sean was out in 5 pushes. So quick! We are so happy to have a baby boy again.
I wish notheing but quick labors for everyone. Thanks for all your support, kindness, and understanding these past 9 months. You girls are the BEST!!!
