do you or anyone you know have blue color to the white parts of your eyes? if so do you know what it means?

it's not me ro... and my friend can not go due to no health insur. she asked me because i have a nursing back round but only as an aid... so i was not too sure... so i told her i would ask on here

her sclera are blue??
This site has some info- says it could be b/c of medications, etc....

For example, some medications, like steroids, can produce blue sclera. Not having enough iron in your blood (anemia) and aging have also been shown to give a blue tint to the whites of the eye.
While most cases of sclera discoloration are benign, they can sometimes be a sign of something more serious like Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Russell Silver Syndrome, Pyknodysostosis, Hallermann- Schermann-Streiff syndrome and Marfan Syndrome.

neenie probably has better info. i was a vet. major, so my medical info usually has to do with animals and may not translate to humans
