Maybe a dumb question but I have no idea what I am doing

Okay baby is 4 months on 1/3. YAY!!! We are starting him on his baby food. How much rice or oatmeal cereal am I supposed to be giving him now? When did you introduce the veggies and fruits baby food? At the same time? Why does this seem so hard. The past couple of nights Ive been putting cereal in his bottle about 3 tablespoons for 6 oz of formula, Is that right? HELP!!! Thanks!!!!!!!

Put enough rice in the food to make it not drippy (it will stay on the spoon). I mix the food and rice right in the babyfood container - alittle messy when you start stirring but do it over the sink. I never put cereal in the bottle. I started veg at 4m - they say to start with the oranges then the greens but dd still perfers greenbeans over anything else!!! Then fruit at 5m then both at 6m. Hope this helps...if dc doesn't take something stick with it. It took 10 day for Olivia to even try greenbeans!!!
