May babies....2 month check-in
How are your 2 month olds doing??
I'm waiting for ds to sleep through the night any day now lol. I'm exhausted, he wakes up twice a night still and sounds so loud while he sleeps next to me in the rock and play. I think I need to put him in the crib soon.
He's taking anywhere from 4-6 oz per bottle, every 3-4 hours.
Smiling, cooing, starting to chill more while awake during the day.
How are your babies doing?

I love this May baby check in! Great idea, Mom1234! DD was born on 5/3 and is doing great! She's been sleeping through the night in her crib for the past 2ish weeks thanks to the Summer Infant brand swaddle! She loves to eat and drinks 6oz every 3-4 hours. Her first bottle of the morning is a 7oz bottle -- since she sleeps for 8-9 hours, she wakes up starving! Her last bottle of the day is also 7oz to hold her through the night. At her 2 month check up she was 12lb 10oz and 23.5 inches long! Still wearing size 3 month clothing but some of it is getting tight! We just moved into size 2 diapers! Did pretty well with all her shots and calmed down from the blood curdling screams within a few minutes!

Ds2 was born May 6. He slept through the night for the 1st time last night! Besides last night he usually gets up twice to eat. He eats anywhere from 4-6 ounces every 3 to 4 hours. He was a little colicky in the beginning but he is definitely happier now and is smiling which is soooo great to see after seeing him whine and cry for awhile.

So he went from waking up twice to sleeping through?? Did it continue? That's amazing. I'm really praying hard for it to happen soon!
I try everything! Feeding more at night, doing the whole bedtime routine, white noise. He's not in the crib yet, tried once then I gave up lol.

It was just a tease lol he woke up last night but only once. We do use the white noise machine. He also sleeps in the rock and play next to my bed but I remember when I switched my ds1 into a crib it was a tough adjustment for him so I am going to wait a little bit still. I just love keeping them close to me :)

DD is 8 weeks old today! She's sleeping 10ish-3ish, which sounds good, except that she's been doing this basically since we brought her home from the hospital. So I was hoping she'd be STTN by now.  She's only drinking about 4oz (or less) every 4 hours so I think she's not stretching her nights yet because she doesn't eat enough during the day. She has severe reflux and we're still tinkering with meds and remedies so hoping that helps her soon and we can increase the ounces in her bottles.
She sleeps in a RnP in her room, though I'd like to get her into her crib sooner than later. DS didn't take his naps in his crib until around 5 months but he slept nights from 3 weeks. I haven't been able to get DD into her crib at night, though. Probably mostly because I'm tired and give up easily! She is pretty good, though, at putting herself to sleep in the RnP.

DD is 6 weeks old and doing great! She's so sweet and is smiling and showing her personality. I'm breastfeeding so she is up twice during the night. It is what it is. She has trouble breathing at times because of a birth defect but I'm praying she grows out of it by the time she turns 1.
I had my 6 week postpartum checkup this week and all is ok. Can't wait to start working out again.
