Matte or Glossy for holiday cards?

If you made your own card in Photoshop, do you prefer matte or glossy? If you'd like to share why, that'd be great. Thanks! Chat Icon

I did matte last year & glossy this year. Both times they came out fine. It's a matter of personal preference I suppose.

For cards I prefer matte. I feel like glossy shows fingerprints so easily.

Hmm......

The guy at Winkflash said that more people return matte cards bc the colors come out less vibrant. He suggested glossy. Argh, what to do?! Chat Icon

Re: Matte or Glossy for holiday cards?

Well I usually like matte - but I didn't vote b.c it has to do with the card - sometimes a style or design might call for glossy so it is more of a card by card basis. I did matte this year on heavy card stock
