Matresses?
I am - for some reason - getting overwhelmed by choosing a mattress (of all things!). I know it has to be firm. Other than that...brand suggestions? And did anyone get an organic one?

Re: Matresses?
With my dd I use BABY BEAUTYREST BACKCARE VII MATTRESS, and then I put a waterproof plastic mattress cover it that looks like a giant bag that fitted to the mattress had a zipper, then over that I put an organic padded waterproof mattress cover than a fitted tight sheet.
I like the bag b/c it keeps from an allergies/bed bugs from developing and if the waterproof mattress cover does get soaked the pee still will not reach the mattress.

Re: Matresses?
I went nuts too. It was almost the most difficult decision I made of all things to put on the registry. I dont know why...but i obsessed over it. I wound up going with a babies r us mattress...and after all that i forgot the name. Something like baby rest...

Re: Matresses?
I already forgot whcih brand we bought, but we let the sls person talk us into the "mercedes of mattresses". It was $320. She didn't try and upgrade us on the furntire, but she took a firm stance on us getting the righ mattress so we went for it. Got it at BBB.
