maternity underwear - worth it?
Anyone buy maternity underwear and not regret it?
For my first pregnancy, I wore the same underwear throughout. I just had to stay away from certain cuts.
This time, I must be carrying a lot differently because even going up a size isn't all that great.
Anyone buy maternity underwear and like them? Is it really worth the investment, or should I keep trying different styles of larger regular underwear?

I love maternity underwear, so comfy. Even if you get a couple of pair to try out, they are not too $$.

I have both. I bought 1 package of maternity underwear (from destionation maternity) and I bought a few that were just bigger sizes. I like the maternity underwear better- I think the fit is much better.

I hate the maternity underwear... typically only wear thongs and I have had good luck with the target brand soft stretchy cotton ones and a lycra material - they have been very comfy for me.

SO not worth it in IMO. Well, the kind i bought were from motherhood maternity and it's such bad quality. the elastic bands alll started shredding and falling apart.
I had much better luch just buying regular bigger underwear. 3 pack of calvin klein's at century 21 were cheaper than the maternity and better quality.

Re: maternity underwear - worth it?
i didnt buy maternity underwear...i've just been wearing my regular ones. Most of mine were low rise so the belly hasnt gotten in the way. And i'm 34 weeks! i guess it depends on where you gain weight...if your hips and thighs get bigger then maybe just a bigger sized underwear is all you need to get?

Re: maternity underwear - worth it?
I've bought them both from ON and Gap. The Gap ones are nice material (very stretchy and comfy) but they don't really fit me right. I'm super picky about underwear fit so this doesn't really surprise me. Of course Target discontinued the style that I LOVED. They were not maternity but fit all through my pregnancy.

Re: maternity underwear - worth it?
That's funny, and my luck too. The first two responses were yay, love them! The rest were all no, they sucked. LOL!
I guess I will try a combo of both maternity and larger non-maternity to ultimately find what fits.
I just hate buying bras and underwear when I'm not pregnant. Pregnancy does NOT make it more enjoyable!
