Maternity pants challenged...
OK- so I have bought 2 pair of secret fit belly jeans, both small.
I really like them both, however the legs are really big on me, the @ss of the pants completely sags...
Then I bought 3 pairs of dress pants from motherhood, also secret fit belly. All of them has a different pant material, and the fit much better BUT they are all to short. Again- I bought smalls and I KNOW I bought regular...
I am thin, but they are people who are WAY thinner than me- so I know I must be doing something wrong.
Also- Im 5'4 which is short/avg, so no pants should be short on me.
My biggest pair of regular pants/jeans no longer fits, so I no longer have them as a backup... Please help me!

Re: Maternity pants challenged...
I had the same exact prob! Smalls just didn't fit me right- my hubby said it looked like someone chopped my @ss off in a guillotine.
I finally found a pair of Mavi XS Jeans at Mimi motherhood! They were $118 so I wasn't going to get them but I had DH with me and he convinced me they were worth the money- so glad I listened! They look like my real jeans and are super comfy!
Good Luck with the hunt- they are out there!

I have the same problem, so I'm just wearing my normal pants with a Bella Band still at 31 weeks.. Much easier that way for me! good luck!

Sorry, but I have the opposite problem. I went yesterday to get some pants and they are all WAAAYYYYY too long!! Maybe you picked up ankle length or capri pants by accident?

I had the same problem. But as I grew they started to fit much better. I think that might be the norm for maternity pants, especially the jeans. I've heard that alot around here.

Re: Maternity pants challenged...
I found the stuff at Destination Maternity was very ill-fitting. I got lucky going to a maternity boutique where they had a lot of different brands, and I ended up finding a brand that fit me very well-- what they didn't have in store, I shopped online and got a few more pairs. They all didn't fit the same, which was annoying-- but still way better than anything I found at Mimi.

I had that problem and the Gap was the only store that fit well on me.

I've done the best, for pants, with Gap, with the maternity pants/jeans with just an adjustable waistband. That way, too, you can get your specific size instead of a one-size-fits-all small.

I am 5'3" and the regular length secret fit belly pants were way too long on me. I had to get Petites. Maybe you grabbed them by mistake? I really like the secret fit pants-- they fit me better than Old Navy, Gap, and Ann Taylor's jeans. I do know some smaller girls who had luck with the H & M jeans. They are smaller in the butt.

These are def. regulars...
I mean they arent too too short, but when I wear heals, they look kinda funny...
I actually have a few Gap giftcards- which stores carry Gap maternity?

Re: Maternity pants challenged...
The Baby Gap in Roosevelt Field sells Maternity. It think it is the only one in Nassau. I found that the Motherhood pants were way too wide and I got sick of looking like that so I went to gap and got a slimmer pair! I feel much more normal. Good luck!

Re: Maternity pants challenged...
I have the same problem - I know many people do fine w/ Mimi/Motherhood - but I the pants I bought (jeans and a pair of cords) are a total and complete waste of money - Same thing, legs are big, a$$ is HUGE and the pants don't stay up - SO SO SO SO uncomfortable !! I have been wearing my regular jeans/pants w/ the bella band (25.5 weeks now) And I LIVE in dresses for work - I just couldn't bring myself to buy suits ....
I ordered a few pairs of pants from Gap online - STILL waiting for them though - that's one bad thing re: Gap - it takes FOREVER to get your order
