March moms - check in

Hello Ladies...

Can you believe that we are so close...I can't!!

I have 6 weeks 4 days to go and I feel that this pregnancy is going too fast.

I still have to pick a pediatrician (if anyone has a Winthrop MD that they love..please let me know).

I'm going to Target today to start buying the things I need to pack for the hospital.
(BTW...are you packing a carry on or a bag?, are you buying travel size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, ect?)

I'm going to a breast feeding class at Babys r us on Tuesday..anyone else going to the one in Westbury?

And I start childbirth classes at my doctor's office on Tues. Feb 12.

My DH has not even started painting the room which I find so weird since my husband loves to work on the house...he's been taping for the last 3 days


I just feel like I'm so not ready...I have a friend that gave birth 4 weeks early...what if????

I went to the doctor today...everything is fine and baby is still in position...one thing

Does anyone else feel like its SWOLLEN down there????

OMG! YES.. I have never had any 'meat' down there but now I do! I'd like to call it swollen too. It's been like that for over a month now.

Anywho... All is good here. The diaper bag is packed, going to start on my bag this week, washed everything. DH is painting the room this weekend so by next weekend the room will be complete/set up.
i've been buying diapers and things needed for the changing table. As well as all her essentials. Took everything out that used for DD (swing/bouncy seat, strollers and so on...) Just have to wash down everything.

i'll find out tuesday when I am going to have this one... I am asking for an induction due to several issues, one being my HG. So it may be the 11th or 17th

I don't want to jinx myself, but I feel great! I really do need to get a move on things though.

We are taking prep classes and I am going to BF classes this and next week. And we meet the pediatrician next week.

I feel fine except for my horrible sciatica and I'm starting to notice my ankles are starting to disappear And she's still breech. Only 6 more weeks to go though. I'm going to start packing a bag this weekend and washing some things. We still have to get furniture!!! The furniture we were waiting on to come in never did and now they say it may be discontinued. Other than that I think everything is coming along ok.

i have nothing done and it will probably be that way for a while. I'm not due until 3/25 but since I popped a baby out 8 1/2 months ago, I just MAY go early. No clue. Time will tell.

Truth is, I really don't have much to do b/c I still have all the baby stuff hanging around. I just have to grab the cradle from downstairs and dress it up. Oh and the moses basket too.

I'll eventually pack my bag. But no time soon. I have time.

I think I am in denial. LOL

I am halfway through childbrith class. I take BFing class next month.
I weigh A LOT.
I feel fine except for the heartburn and a little more tired.
I had to see a cardiologist today b/c I had chest pain last week but all looks fine.
I think my shower is this weekend.
We need to get a new car (will do President's Day weekend).
My growth sono is next week.
The crib still hasn't come in (ordered in early November), but the rest of the room/furniture is done (no bedding until baby comes)
Cord blood is done but I need to do our life insurance.
I am training a few people to handle my duties at work - hopefully they'll be trained soon so I feel comfortable with my work situation.
I am still on a waitlist for the daycare I want - they said to f/u in early February so I'll call next week.

I can't believe we are almost there!!! I have 6 weeks left and so much to do. Our furniture is probably not going to be in for another 3 weeks. I pray I dont go early bcause I will feel so much more at ease if DD's room is organized and ready for her. the thought of coming home with stuff everywhere and no furniture makes me anxious! I still need to do a ton of other stuff for the nursery, wash clothes, buy lots of stuff, decide on a ped, take child birth ed and bf class, get a car....OMG it is way too much. On the flipside, i had my shower so we finally have stuff and DH put together the stroller, PNP, carseat and snap and go this week. next is the swing and bouncy seat.

i feel good though except my feet are sooooo swollen.

I'm getting there made some headway today, yet still have so much to do and only about 5-6 weeks left if that.
Still need to call the pediatrician
Finish packing my bag
Put together the stroller, though that's all we have so far (still haven't had shower)
Take child birth and BF classes
Get the paperwork ready for insurance
and prob tons more that i'm missing

Went to OB today.. baby is around 6-7 pounds, i'm having braxton hicks on a daily basis, and tons of pressure down below... and feeling completely exhausted

Im 35.5 weeks and spent the night at my doctors office. I started to have contractions late this afternoon so they had me come in and monitored me. The contractions weren't strong enough and eventually let up (thank God) I just have to take it easy from now on. Im extremely tired again and very uncomfortable. I have most everything I need done, done. My shower is Saturday so I guess all we have left is putting together the baby stuff and washing clothes.
