Making Baby Food? Where to start?
Riley will be 4 months next week and I'd imagine that the doctor is going to mention starting solids at her next appointment. She is showing interest in foods and is very hungry in the morning, even when eating 6-7 ounce bottles at a time, and so I feel like she might be ready to start.
With Emily, 6.5 years ago, the thought of making my own baby food wasn't even there. But now that I'm a SAHM, I have the time to do it and would like to try.
Where do I start?
Any tips, tools, books, etc. that anyone can recommend?
Thanks, Melissa

I use the baby bullet and the site wholesome food. I work full time (during the school year) and still love making DS's food. It's really easy, and you can make a large batch on a weekend, and get so much food for your freezer.

i used a different baby food maker (same concept), a list of recommendations from the ped, and wholesomebabyfood.com
we had so much fun making different purees and watching her try them!! and you always know whats in the food. plus its way cheaper to make a big batch and freeze then it is to buy pre-made food.
