making baby food
so i made a huge chicken soup today, going to puree the chicken, carrots, sweet potato and zucchinni for db. will add soup for liquid. would you freeze all together or separately? also, i have a butternut squash i didnt cook yet- whats the best way to do it?

Ive heard of people putting the soup in ice cube trays and then taking out 2 ice cubes as needed and cooking when the baby wants the soup.

I agree....
As far as the butternut squash...I fill a baking dish with about 1 - 2 inches of water. Cut the squash in half and place in dish open side down in water. I bake at 400 for about 40 minutes. Let cool and then scoop out and put in food processor. I am sure there are a ton of other ways but that's what I do.
