MAC users
Just curious to know if you bring your empty containers back to the MAC store. They do recycle and they offer you a free lipstick or shadow (possibly something else) when you bring back six empty make up containers. I did it today.

No, I always forget to keep the containers so I can bring them back.

I brought back 8 containers. They didnt think I was insane - they told me to keep the extra 2 and bring them back next time. The great thing is that they pretty much make no money on me. My SIL gets all of my make up at the Company Store at half price in the first place. Frankly, I think it is a pretty decent thing for the company to do. Shows a bit of promise.

They recycle.
I know they are owned by Estee Lauder. I know they have a handful of programs that promote awareness of environmental issues. :
