Luteal Phase E2 Question
OK, Cornell makes you get b/w on CD 24 and Cd26 for progesterone and estradiol. My progesterone is fine (high at 43.72) but my E2 is low at 32.81 (at least according to the labs reference range). I got the b/w at my local lab and I always have them fax me then I fax the RE. So, the normal luteal phase range (non-pregnant woman) is 43.82-211.0. I'm not even in the normal range. Does anyone know anything about this? They only have us do PIO. Thanks.

Re: Luteal Phase E2 Question
I don't have an answer for you but, is it possible that a woman after going through IVF might have a different range that is acceptable. Just throwing out an idea.

Re: Luteal Phase E2 Question
Did you talk to your RE or nurse? If its below normal range you may need a patch or supplement.

Have a call in and waiting for a call back. Though everything I find says elevated E2 in an IVF cycle is a good indicator that it worked. Great Hope that is all wrong.

Re: Luteal Phase E2 Question
I am a patient of Dr Goldschlag @ Cornell...he put me on E2 patches during my 2ww and then after I received my BFP.....my E2 was also very low like yours.....I lost one pregnancy prior and he said it might have been due to low E2...it doesn't hurt to take them...I know many Cornell girls take them just in case.....I might have some left over if you need....

Of course, now I'm thinking...could this be the problem all along? Besides the old fart thing. Maybe I will make another phone call to Cornell before they break for the day.

I have patches too if you want to meet somewhere. I actually have some leftover estrace too.
