Luteal Phase and B6
How much B6 can you take per day to try to lengthen your LP? 200 mg per day is not working? Not TTC, but trying to work on my cycle. Before Connor, I was able to take 100mg per day and just that helped, but now I've been taking 200mg and it's not doing anything. Any suggestions? TIA!

Re: Luteal Phase and B6
i am up to 300 mg per day. I don't think there is a limit to HOW MUCH you can take, because your body rids itself of the excess (your pee will be LOVELY colors)...

Re: Luteal Phase and B6
That's what I thought. I remember my doctor saying that you can't overdose on B vitamins. Is it helping at all?
Years ago, I heard that you should just take B6 to help with the LP, it's works better, which worked great for me, and recently I've been hearing you should take B-complex vitamins instead of just B6? Have you heard anything about this?
Thanks!

Re: Luteal Phase and B6
TCOYF recommends 200-500mg of B6 a day to help with LP. You can take too much, but I think it really has to be a lot - if you're taking too much yuo'll have tingling/numbness in your extremities. I've also read that your body absorbs the B6 better if you take it in a complex, but I have no idea why. I'm currently taking 200mg B6 in a complex and my LP increased from 10 to 11 days this month - although I'm also taking vitex, which might've affected the LP as well.
