Low progesterone ?
Anyone have experience with this? I had a chemical pregnancy in June and since then with the 2 periods I've had, I've spotted for a few days before. I've read that it could be a progesterone issue. Im going to call my dr tomorrow and ask to have the bloodwork done but I was wondering if anyone has gone through this. Thanks

I had cramps and spotted once early on and it was due to low progesterone. So the doc upped my Prometrium dosage and that did the trick. Good luck!

I started bleeding around 5 weeks with this PG. I went to the doctor and found out I have low Progesterone. They put me on a suppository twice daily. I'm just about 10 weeks and I bleed everyday. I have been to the OB at least three times and ER once because of bleeding. All my sonos have come up fine and baby is doing well. The bleeding now is actually due to the suppositories I guess irritating me. The OB found that the blood is not coming from any area that has to do with the baby.
I did ask my numbers and my progesterone was a 9.5. Doctor said this is low, but not horrible.
I have always spotted before my period. Sometimes a week before. I don't have any other conditions and they have tested me for PCOS and looked for cyst on many occasions. I also have a 2 year old son, and had not one complication with him. No spotting at all other then implantation spotting.

I had low progesterone and was on suppositories until 12 weeks. It's not that bad and very easy to correct. If you are concerned I would def. call your dr. and have it checked out but I wouldn't worry too much.

Same for me. I had it with DS and now this pregnancy with DD. I didn't know i had it with DS until I ahd routine bloodwork at 8 weeks and therefore with this pregnancy I had them check as soon as I got my BFP and I had it again so I just used the supposotories until 12 weeks. It wasn't a big deal at all.

Yes, do a search on the pg board for this and you'll find lots of relief.
I was on progesterone support until about 12 weeks.
