low lying placenta
they told me this today at the level 2. the dr said the placenta moves, but they will have me back at 30 weeks to check. does this mean anything bad? she told me if i bleed, which she doesn't expect to call the ob.

Re: low lying placenta
I had it at my 16 week and I go for my 20 week next week and they'll check if it moved. When they found it at 16 weeks, they said 90-95% chance that it will move, but if it does not, I will have to have a c-section about 3-4 weeks before my due date. I think at about 20 weeks if it hasn't moved, they would put me on pelvic rest until it does. (Dr said if it doesn't move by your next appointment, we'll talk about restrictions then, and I googled a bunch of info and found that it would probably be pelvic rest, no heavy lifting, etc). It seems like such good possibility that it will move, so I wouldn't worry! Good luck!

Re: low lying placenta
I see my ob next week so I will ask then. Most likely I will need another c section so I guess that is on less worry.
