I'm on lovenox (brand name). I ice first and notice it burning once in a while, but not often. I bruise like crazy though...

I have previously used the generic lovenox but Sandra told me too that the brand name may work better for me. I'll be using it in a few days presumably so I'll let u know!!

Ice, alcohol, dont pinch but press the skin down between your two fingers then shoot and ice again. I like to sit for a minute because if I get up too quick I'll feel it burning a bit.

i use generic..it burns for a sec going in and it def bruises..at least me..but i think im am just a bruiser on top of what it does bc even when i have blood drawn my whole arm bruises
u will be a pro in no time i promise

I do the generic. It burns a little, but I hardly notice it anymore. I do it right before I go into the shower so I don't pay much attention! Also, I find that the fleshier the area where I inject, the less it stings and bruises.

I used the generic and sometimes it did burn and sometimes it didn't. I iced the area and distracted myself with watching tv. I didn't bruise much mostly red dots.

hmm ive never heard of this technique, do you do that for just lovenox or all your injects?

I used both generic and name brand. I found the generic hurt and bruised less.
My trick was to inject into my love handles...much less painful and alot less bruising
