Love my DH
One of the reasons we haven't been ttc is bc I've been scared that I won't be able to get preggo. Some of the woman, ok many of the women have had problems conceiving and I don't want to go through all of the drugs just to get preggo. DH bought up the topic bc he knows its in the back of my head and said he wouldn't put me through that, I have some health issues and have dealt with the loss of my parents and he doesn't want to put me, my body or my emotions through that. He would rather be childess with me.
Of coure there is always adoption if possible but its nice to know he doesn't want to put me through that anymore than I actually want to go through it.
Have any of you guys talked about what you would do if this doesn't happen for you?

First
DH & I have discussed adoption as an option. He would prefer to cross that bridge at that time. No matter what happens he's says its whatever I want and he'll support that decision (adoption, fertility treatment ect)

Re: Love my DH
Coming from someone who did have problems conceiving... I will say that fertility treatments are NOT something to be afraid of and totally manageable. I just wanted to shed some light on that ..... It's really not something to fear.
TTC is filled with emotional ups and downs whether you are trying naturally, or through the fertility treatment route. I have experienced infertility, as well as complications and a loss at 17wks pregnant that were unrelated to my fertility issues. You don't realize what you are capable of dealing with until you don't have a choice.
That said.. it's a bit soon to think that you may have problems conceiving. My mom conceived me and my brother the first month of trying so I am PROOF that fertility issues are not necessarily genetic. I am the only person in my family to have these types of problems.
Good luck!!

Honestly, no. We have not really discussed that. We are going to cross that bridge when we come to it.

Re: Love my DH
Yes, DH & I have discussed what we would do in the event that we were not able to conceive children. We have discussed fertility treatment, adoption, etc... This is a emotional rollercoaster and being in it for 6 months I can tell you, you can not be scared of the unkown you will drive yourself crazy. It is good to be prepared & to think of all your options or unforseen struggles & situations BUT do not let your fear get in the way of trying,. If this is somthing you want you should gof or it and take it step by step. It seems like you have a very supportive DH & i think as a team you will be able to overcom anything that TTC throws at you. Stay Strong and good luck with whatever you decide.
