Money is not everything, nor does it buy happiness. But - it's important. DH and I enjoy being able to pay bills comfortably and have a nice life where we can go out and do things -- have dinner out, go to a movie, get drinks - without worrying we can't pay the cable bill.
I'd be just as happy with him if things were bad $-wise, but, it would also add lots of stress that I think would make me a less happy person overall.

It is definitely important to us. We do want to live comfortably and not have to worry about struggling to make ends meet.

I'll be honest, it is very important to me. We can't afford expensive things, but it would bother me if I didn't have the money to go clothes shopping every so often, to go to shows and concerts, etc. I want to at least have the lifestyle that I was accustomed to while growing up, which was solidly middle class.

It extremely important. Money right now is holding us back from owning a home and having children....yeah...no problems admitting here that we would like some extra money!
