Looking for recommendation
...for an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knees. Anyone have a referral? We are in western nassau but will travel!

He's usually just a hip guy -- they might put you (OP) in with him as a new patient if you call and say you were referred but if the patient states they have a knee issue they usually stick to the knee guys -- Shah, Keefer, Price, etc.
I used to do surgical booking for that practice - back in college, mind you, but nonetheless.
I would send my own mother to Shah. He's that wonderful. I would use him myself. His surgeries -- I would look at the pics afterward -- the scope pics -- and it was like art. He did beautiful work.
Germano is a nice guy too - kind of reminds of Ross from Friends. Good hip guy. Pelvis. That kind of stuff.
No one is hotter than Dr. Yadegar lol he does pain management. Wow.

Dr. Michael Ciminiello is fantastic. He did my mom's knees. she had fallen and he basically put the Brooklyn bridge in her leg.
He really cares about his patients. Greets us with hugs and kisses when we visit. Great bedside manor.
Highly recommend.
