Looking for nice place to stay in Philly
I can NOT believe it, but our tenth anniversary is coming up
Since we are limited with places to keep our DS, DH and I decided to stay in Philly since my SIL and MIL live near there and can take DS for the weekend.
We will be seeing a singer that we like our anniversary weekend in Philly, and then want to stay stay somewhere overnight.
We are looking for a nice hotel to stay at - any ideas? Somewhere less conventional than an actual Hilton - but nice. I know Philly is historical, so even somewhere kind of old and quirky would be perfect!
Thanks!

There are two Kimpton properties which look amazing. Very eclectic. Our last stay we stayed at the Four Seasons and had a great time. We were with DD and believe it or not they were very kid friendly. But check out the Kimptons. They look really fun!

Looking for nice place to stay in Philly
I asked my sister who lives there and is a Philly Guru...she said Hotel Monaco, best rooftop bar in an excellent location (across from the liberty bell). Have fun!

Re: Looking for nice place to stay in Philly
We are going this summer and booked the Embassy Suites. We needed to have a separate area for the kids because I feel they would never fall asleep if we were all in the same bedroom. I've never been to Philly so I was going on reviews

I Just stayed at an Embassy in Louisville Kentucky and OMG It was fabulous. we wound up getting an apt type hotel room. I think I will look to stay at Embassy's anywhere I go from now on.
I live outside of philly but not familiar with the hotels. Center City is a great area..you probably cant go wrong with any hotel in that vicinity.
