Looking for EWCM
Do you ladies just wipe and look at what's on the tp or do you actually get your fingers all up in there? I'm trying to figure out what everything looks like before we officially start TTC. I've only seen yellowish creamy stuff so far. Do I need to use my fingers to see something different?

You usually can see it on TP and underwear but I have done the scoop technique going all up in there every now and then while checking the cervix position. I have no shame lol

You can check your cervix position?? What do you feel for??
Not sure if I have long enough fingers for that...my GYN always tells me that I have a very long vagina, and it's always a chore for her to get up there and feel the cervix. So uncomfortable!!

You can usually see it on the TP, but lately I've been doing the scoop technique as Lillies calls it. I have never been able to check my cervix position, my fingers are REALLY small, like really really REALLY small...

So what is the 'scoop'? You just stick a couple fingers in and scoop some out??

But I have come to realize when I am truly about to surge, it's usually on the TP. Yet, I still do the "scoop technique" lol Good name for it!
Checking CP... I can't do it. I mean, I have. And I can feel it. But for some reason it gives me the chills. Like nails on a chalkboard. Getting all weirded out just thinking about it.

I usually can feel it when I really reach up in there (lol) so that's how I know when I am ready to O bc the cervix becomes very high and I can't really reach it lol Sounds like we are digging for gold.

you can see it on the tp BUT I recommend feeling it with your fingers bc the TP isn't going to tell you about it's consistency and consistency is important when TTC. Hate to gross you out but after being preggo I learned a lot about my body and there isn't much I'm uncomfortable with anymore. You should be able to stretch it between your fingers...the silkier and longer you can stretch it the better it is for TTC.
Did you know that orthodox jewish women have the lowest rates of cervical cancer bc they do regular self internal cervix checks etc? I find that fact fascinating and it makes me an advocate for getting all up in there and really getting to know your body.
