Looking for a new ob

Hey ladies,
I am looking for a new Ob. I was wondering if you had any suggestions. I have set up an appointment with Dr. King in Rockville center has anyone gone to her?

She affiliated with Winthop, South Nassau and Mercy. I was wondering if you guys know any info about these hospitals (which is better, the types of rooms ect.) Any info would be great.

TIA

Dr. Kastner- She works out of her Mineola & Lynbrook offices & is affiliated w/Winthrop. I have been going to her since I was in my teens.
She is wonderful!!

Winthrop has one of the best NICU's on the island. South Nassau is awesome because they only have private rooms, so your guaranteed one and there is no extra charge.

As for another rec, I see Dr. Zandieh in Bethpage and I love the whole office. He's affiliated with Wintrop as well.

DH works at Winthrop and all the women he works with choose to deliver there. That's endorsement enough for me! It's a great hospital and I chose my OB-GYN specifically because he's affiliated with it.

I don't know anything about the other 2 hospitals.

I've been to Dr. King's office in RVC a couple of times. She is REALLY NICE!!! Right now Im under the care of my RE, but once I am 10 weeks I go back to Dr. King. I have also found the staff to be nice there as well.Chat Icon

Would you travel to Garden City? If so, I have a great OB/GYN there. FM me for the info if you'd like.

My DH is a dr at winthrop and he has nothing but rave reviews, I'm sure he's biased though. He did most of his medical school rotations at other li/bk hospitals and likes winthrop the best my far.
