Not really in the smithtown area, but holbrook right near ronkonkoma train station on Union avenue there is Black Belt academy. If the owner still teaches the classes he is awesome..ex marine and police officer. I haven't taken classes there in four years though

I've gone for years - I had to stop because I couldn't afford it anymore but it really is the best!!!!

Its not cheap but I dont think its expensive either. They have all different membership types....you can pay by the class or join for a few months or yearly
