Long Weekend Ideas
Anyone have suggestions for a long weekend (four nights) within driving distance of Long Island? We definitely, definitely want to drive...no other modes of transportation.
Since we want to try something new, the following places are out as we've already been to them:
LI Wine Country
Finger Lakes Wine Region
Atlantic City, NJ
Seaside Heights, NJ
Philadelphia
Lancaster, PA
New Hope, PA
Salem, MA
Boston
North Hero, VT
Burlington, VT
Hershey, PA
We like wineries, historical sites, ghost walks, good restaurants...
ETA: When I say we, I mean DH and me.

I just booked a long weekeng in April for Newport, RI...based on some recommendations from past posts on here.

Gettysburg, PA- stay in a B&B in town, tour the civic center and the museums, visit the Jennie Wade house and take a ghost tour at night, and check out the local shops in town square. DH and I went last April and had such a great time exploring
