Long Island Aquarium
Does anyone know of any discounts/coupons for the Long Island Aquarium?
Also, my DD is 18 months. Is it worth it to do the Aquarium and Exhibition Center or should we just do the aquarium? We'll probably only be there about 2 hours or so.

There are coupons on the back of Pepsi cans, but you have to read to see when they're good for. We weren't able to use it, but I can't remember why. There is so much to do in the aquarium itself that you probably won't have time for the exhibition center if you're only there for 2 hours.
We were there last week and they've really done a lot to it. If it's a nice day there is a ton of outside stuff to do as well.

There's a groupon (might be livingsocial)for the exhibition center 50% off the butterfly exhibit
The kids entertainment book has coupons for a discounted ticket price for general admission

i would just do the Aquarium. You won't even get through it all in 2 hours with a 2 year old - and she is free!!!

There are coupons on their website for some $$ off each ticket. We just went this past Friday with my twin 2 year olds...I was expecting it to actually be a little bigger. We got there around 10:30 and left around 1, including eating lunch there. The kids had a lot of fun and were sleeping before we even pulled out of the parking lot. It was a good size for them and they were able to walk around and see everything!
ETA: We just did the Aquarium, we did not to the butterfly exhibit.

We werent able to use any of the coupons because we just paid for entry into the aquarium for the two of us, which still came out to $48 and change. DS was free. If you plan on going there more than once, i suggest getting a membership. We bought a membership last week because DS loves ocean animals. The membership was $80 plus tax and is for a full year from purchase. We did not do the exhibition center. That would be an additional fee.
