Long Cycles
Girls with long cycles when do you POAS?
My cycles are usually 44 days and I feel like testing at 11dpo would be too soon since I technically haven't missed AF yet.
But *if* I were pregnant wouldn't I get a BFP? I'm so confused!!
I asked this once before but didn't get any answers,  hopefully someone will be able to help this time.

Technically if you were PG, you would get a BFP but to be safe and make sure and to avoid the disappointment of a BFN, I would wait until AF is late by a few days or a week. I don't know if this is what you want to hear but it is what I would do.

How long is your LP?
I always wait till AF is late to test (I really hate seeing the BFN).
11dpo is early to test I would wait till at least 13dpo. (if your LP is longer I would wait till 2 days before AF is due if you can't wait)

Yea I hate to see a BFN too.
I'm not sure how long my LP is but AF should be arriving on the 28th so it looks like i'm in the 3ww

Yea I hate to see a BFN too.
I'm not sure how long my LP is but AF should be arriving on the 28th so it looks like i'm in the 3ww

I wish I could help! My cycles are so crazy that I don't know if and when I O. OPKs don't help me at all and I have no idea how long my LP is. I usually just wait until AF comes (because she always does).
I would wait until you pass CD44 to test if AF hasn't shown up.
Hope this is your month!

Even with a 44 day cycle.. you're in the same 2ww as everyone.
The part that would be longer is waiting to ovulate..
You should still get AF approximately 15 days after you O, just like anyone else. Of course as you know, LP can vary between 10 and 17 days... but the average is 14 days.

I had really long cycles. A few months ago I had a 45 day cycle, last month it was 43, and this past month it was a 35 day cycle before I got BFP.
I tested at 11DPO and got a positive, BUT I really thought it was too early. I should have waited another day or two to be on the safe side.
