Lobster Roll in Riverhead
We had our heart set on lunch/dinner at the Lobster Roll in Riverhead for Mother's Day but DH didn't call until yesterdaty and they're not open until Friday for reservations.  They typically don't take res so I wasn't expecting to need them for Mother's Day.
If anyone is familiar with this restaurant - what do you think our chances are of getting a table there on Mother's Day without an insane wait? DS is 19 months old so his patience is thin and waiting for ages for a table is not the best idea...
Any other cute restaurants in the Riverhead area?

The Village Cross Roads (close to the Cooperage Inn) is pretty good too - but you'll probably want to call for a reservation there also..
We also like Digger's on Main St Riverhead.. Its not 'cute' but we love the food.

I think you will wait but personally I don''t mind waiting there with kids because they have an outdoor play area. Last time we went, around October, we sat with a glass of wine for about an hour, while the kids played. As long as the weathers good its fine.
