It's been dead for awhile. Users branched out into Facebook groups - negative reviews on the forum tended to be taken down and not allowed/censored so brides were looking for a more secure place to talk

This. There's a million facebook groups. I believe that's the case with every message board these days.

This. There's a million facebook groups. I believe that's the case with every message board these days.
Yup.. which is also why LIF isnt as active these days.

That's why I like FB more. If people "know" you, then you act more like yourself. It's easier to be a jerk if you are anonymous.
I didn't know LIW was so dead. Glad I got to use it back in the day.

I think this was the main issue that caused users to not go there.

I think this was the main issue that caused users to not go there.
We had drama way back In the day. But no Facebook back then. I was just surprised because I remember there being a board for 2007 and 2008 brides back in 2005 Now there's barely a 2016 board

I saw that it was dead too. It's sad, I only got married a few years ago and it was still pretty active, and I made great friends from there.
