living room/dining room color
We have a L shaped living room/dining room (open) and i am having a rather hard time picking a color. Could you give me inspiration of colors other then beige/tan.
It has windows facing the west and east only.
Today i picked out more swatches: Behr Rain Washed, Ocean Kiss & Velvet Morning but I just want ideas. It must go with red accents, darkish wood furniture (not expresso or black just not light woods) and natural oak flooring.

Look for the "ColorSmat". You can play around with colors that go together. I'm still looking for inspiration pics too.

Gray with Red
Purple like this. I would say this has a gray undertone to it.
Blue with Red
I'm thinking about blue/gray walls (light colors not dark) with the red accents and your darker furniture will look very nice together. I can't seem to find anything with what I have in mind.
Also a nice soft purple/mauve color would be really nice with the red.

Is this someone's bedroom on here? If so what exact color is that - even if it's BM.
Thank you for the help. The color tool on behr i like but as soon as i get the samples home I hate it, its killing me. And now after looking all day at pictures and the images above. I really think i am just looking for gray. Because i keep saying that is too blue, or too purple or too green. If guessed i dismissed it because i wanted gray for the front bedroom but i think i will just switch it out for a color i just picked out today that i was thinking of living room.

You could accent red or navy blue and it would be really beautiful.

I don't think it's someone's BR on here, but I could be wrong. I got it off of Decorpad.com
Your welcome. Sometimes those color tools are very helpful because our computers don't give us correct colors. But it does help to get an idea of what we like at least. Gray will look so nice with the darker furniture and the red accents. GL picking the right gray for your rooms.
