Little tip for anyone with odor-related queasies

Hi Girls, good morning! Well at almost 24 weeks, it seems like any kind of morning sickness/nausea is a distant memory for me, oh happy day!!!

But I wanted to pass this on, for anyone who, like me, would get smell-related nausea. In my first tri, it was all I could do to get to work without tossing my cookies on the bus, or walking around in midtown with the, um, exotic scents from the food vendors....

And then I remembered my friend's trick from 10 years ago.... and it really works!!

I would keep a little bar of fragranced soap in my pocketbook, with a tissue around it, and grab that everytime I got a whiff of something disagreeable!!! It REALLY REALLY helped me, heck it works so well I may stick with that after Chat Icon gets here!!!

Hope that helps someone!!!

thanks for the tip, I have to try that!

I get sick at night from the smells in my kitchen - reheating food etc.
DH found the greatest thing at Babies R us to help me! It is amazing how quickly it removes ALL odors! I highly recommend it to anyone who suffers from this problem at home.

Lemon also works well.

I had it very bad and I would carry cut up Lemon in a ziploc..its an old remedy and it works sooo well for a moment of peace!
