Re: Little Dickens store...
My SIL just got a really cute boys one piece for our nephew. The whole outfit (hat, shoes, etc) was about $200. It's linen.
I plan on going there for DS and also Violets Blue which is just down the road. You can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Re: Little Dickens store...
They are expensive. I went their twice. I found the people there rude and snobby.
I got my girls christening gowns at Cathys Touch in Merrick. They have girls and boys stuff.

We got our DD's outfit there. They have an amazing selection and everything is so beautiful. They are a little pricey but I thought it was worth it. The staff is also great and very helpful with sizing and accessories.

I also got Luca's outfit at Charlottes Kids. It is right before the Wantagh Pkwy on Merrick and they have a pretty good selection. I had gone to both stores, Little Dickens had a larger selection, but I would still check out Charlottes Kids first.

Re: Little Dickens store...
I got both of my boy's christening and first birthday outfits there. As well as their Christmas stuff. For us, it was convenience since we live close by. I really liked their selection and dealt with the daughter of the owner, who was very helpful.

Re: Little Dickens store...
I bought Eddies Christening outfit there, and they have a HUGE selection, in fact, the whole store is just one big Christening selection.
DS was about $250, $300 with accessories, but there are definitely less pricey options there.
ETA: I didnt find anyone rude or snobby, they were wonderful and so helpful and sweet.
