Lipstick/lipliner question
For those of you that wear lipstick - do you also wear a lipliner? If so, how dark or light compared to your lipstick?

I'm a lip gloss kinda girl, but I wear lip liner underneath so it lasts long. I usually wear a darker shade then the gloss, and I fill in my entire lips with the liner.

No matter what shade, I always wear the same lipliner. The Body Shop Beech. It's just a touch deeper than the color of my lip. I have worn this for years and years. Liner should match your lip, not the lipstick/gloss.

I wear mostly gloss, so I try to match as closely as I can to the colour I am wearing.

Me too..exactly.
Today I wore Clinique mahogany lip liner over my entire lip and topped it off with black honey sheer gloss.

I am a gloss girl but if I do wear a liner, I wear "strippedown" by MAC. Is is close to the color of my lips and can pretty much be worn with any color lipstick or gloss I wear

That's what I do, but I just use clear gloss over the lip liner--that way the color stays longer than a gloss would, and I just re-appy the gloss for shine when needed( or when I remember).
I find that easier thant tryign to coordinate 2 or 3 differenent shades with liner, lipstick & gloss.
I like Bermuda & Borneo by Nars, with Nars Tripple X lip Gloss ove rit.

I wear lipstick, but can't wear a lipliner.
Even if I have it professionally done, I feel like I look like I have a mustache drawn onto my upper lip.

When I wear lipliner, I wear "Strippedown" or "Spice" - both MAC - and I fill in my entire lip.
I agree that lipliner should match your lip.
Imo, nothing is worse than a dark lipliner with a pale lip. I absolutely detest that Pam Anderson-look

I wear lipliner every day, whether it's gloss or lipstick on top. I use nudes, burgendies, etc. I love how you can totally change your lipstick just by using a lip liner.

I always wear a liner that is a slight shade darker than my lips. My lipstick runs otherwise. And I think it helps it last longer. Even if I just put gloss over it, I still use the liner.
