Lipa bills - confusing
we just moved here in June
Why would we get a bill for a 74 day period, and then a bill for a 48 day period?
Do they just come read the meters whenever they feel like?
I have no idea when to expect a bill - now it says the next meter reading is on or about 12/14...

Nope its not balanced billing, when I called last month they told me the bill would be bi-monthly. The last bill was due 10/6, now I have one due 11/11 that doesnt seem like bi-monthly - and there was only a 60 dollar difference between both bills - I am very confused

I think you have to wait a year for them to figure out your average monthly useage to get balanced billing. It does get annoying that you don't know what to expect from bill to bill. We've seen this with LIPA, AQUA, and Nat. Grid. We're coming up on a year now and I can't wait to switch to balanced billing.

I guess I will have to call, I just don't see how getting a bill due 10/6 and another due 11/11 is any form of bi-monthly and why the bill is so high...
