2 week wait.....
It's the down time after ovulation when TTC'ers obsess about every single abdominal twinge, boob ache, dizzy spell, increase in appetite, loss of appetite.......
Gotta wait it out, since it's too early to test....... very annoying!
The only way to tell when it starts for sure is to use an OPK and get a +.... 2 days after your OPK+, you are definitely in your TWW. It ends when aunt flo comes along, roughly 2 weeks later....
O timing is best estimated by an OPK (+ result 12-36 hours prior to O), but can also be estimated by CM or charting your basal temps.... CM will become EWCM 3-5 days prior to O. It usually dries up on the day of O. you are the most fertile right BEFORE O, when you get an OPK+. That's where I am right now 
yep, you guessed DPO correctly. Once again, the O date is often determined by OPK or some type of charting...

so since i BD during the time I think I O'ed and i am due for AF but she's either a little late or I miscounted, then I am officially in the TWW?

Think I O'ed some time around the 17th. Last AF either started the 2nd or 5th. Next is supposed to be the 31st? If I used the 2nd as a date.

to answer your question...
typically you get AF two weeks after you ovulate. so the two week wait is the time between when you ovulate and when your next AF comes... if your period is late, then you're technically past the 2ww, since most people will test once AF is late.

Jst an FYI~ just because you get a +OPK does NOT mean you will O. This past month, I got a +OPK, but didn't O until 5 days later.
SO~ even though you got a +OPK, KEEP BDing for more than a day after in case you have a delayed O.
