Linea Negra (who has it - POLL)
I see it on my belly starting already. Is it a common thing? Very strange, I can understand stretch marks but why this vertical line?

Mine just appeared last week but it's very faint- I'm 35 weeks now. It should go away after delivery.

Yup, have it. It's been gradually coming over the last few weeks, although I'd still consider it moderately light. It is the strangest thing!
ETA: Hopefully I'll just get this and no stretch marks. Fingers crossed!!

I have it also....
Here's an article I found:
Before pregnancy, there was a line called the linea alba running from your belly button to your pubic bone. You probably didn't notice it, though, because it was the same color as the rest of your skin.
The same increased production of melanin that causes facial splotches is responsible for darkening this line on your belly. It will probably fade back to its pre-pregnant color several months after you deliver your baby

With my first pregnancy, I got it at 14 weeks.
This time, I only have a very faint line that appeared at around 32 weeks. It looks nothing like my first one which was very dark and prominent, it's more of a very thin and barely visible shadowy line this time around.
