line OPK's

I used them for the first time. I ordered the smiley ones from amazon but they didn't come in time...For two days I got some lines, but def not as dark as the line, and then yesterday it was very faint again..can I assume that I got my "highs" during those lines..I hate the line tests..I love the smileys...We Bd'd a lot the past 4 days bc I felt I was ovluating and had the right CM (TMI)...

I've found that just b/c I have CM doesn't mean I am ovulating. I would continue testing with the line tests until your smiley's arrive.

When i used the line tests i had never gotten a line that was definately as dark or darker - the only way i knew i had O'd was b/c i was temping also

That was the last time i used the line tests!

Since your not sure - i would keep at least every other day for a fews days just to cover your bases

Thanks ladies..well if I didn't O the past week then I wouldn't, my cycles are 28 days long and We BD'd on CD11 , 13, 14 15 and 16 so I think we covered our bases hopefully...I'm not gonna go crazy and by another kit since I used all the line tests already...I'm pretty in tune with my body and Oing bc of ttcing last time so I'm pretty sure I did, I know it's not just based on CM

i got a faint line the first three days i used the opk, then the 4th day it was actually darker than the tester line. although i still don't know if i ovulated!

I purchased the line ones and hated how I couldn't really tell. I bought my smiley digital, got my smiley and took the line test just to see what it is that I should have been looking for, could totally tell this time! There was no faint line but 2 exact colored lines.

I used the lines but I did them twice a day bc sometimes those really just detect the first surge so if you happen to ovulate at night and test again in the morning it won't read and you will have missed your darkest line. . but I never got a line as dark as the test but once I did them a few months could def read them. .

I would assume that if you saw them getting darker and then they were gradually decreasing, that you indeed O'ed. Last month I used the line OPK's and the test line never got darker than the control line, it was the SAME color for 2 days and then it gradually decreased. Good luck!
