life before the BFP
I have been trying to live by the motto of "live normally until the BFP" which looks like it will be especially important for me as things are already going slower than I had hoped. That said, is there anything actually DANGEROUS to be doing before you get a BFP?
I know you're supposed to be getting enough folic acid even before the BFP, but as far as other things (particular foods, alcohol, caffeine, exercise, cat litter, OTC medications, etc) is there anything you really should stop doing or change your habits regarding even before a BFP? Besides certain prescription meds like Accutane.

your blood doesnt mix with the baby until around 6 weeks... so really unless youre on meds that can cause problems there is nothing you should change prior to bfp

Fuzzy on the details but apparently pregnant women are not supposed to scoop the litter.

Re: life before the BFP
when I do get a BFP eventually I may surprise him with a new scooper with a big bow on it, as he will be taking over litter duty

I don't think that you should be scooping the litter at all now. My DH does it for me. There is some kind of bacteriain in cat feces that will prevent a BFP and also may cause miscarriages. So I think if you are TTC now ... pass the chore to the DH from now on.

i pretty much cut out caffeine once we started ttc...i dont really know why, but i think i read somewhere that it was good to lower or cut out your caffeine intake while ttc
