Only in the general sense (or with my life), I would say fair. It's hard to keep this perspective at times when I've seen utter devastation in people's lives.

For me personally, very fair.
For other, less fortunate people, less fair. I also think though that in many cases, life will be what you make of it. Some people (not referring to anyone here) I know are very negative about all aspects of their life and can never see the positive sides of things. It the grass is always greeener feeling. I am a more positive person and I think the outcome has been greatly affected by that.

I do believe that some people are born with advantages that others do not have...so in that respect life is Unfair.
For me to consider life Fair...we would all need to start out the same advantges/disadvantages.

I agree with Jacquie and what she mentioned.
I think Life is all about perceptions and how you react to situations.
I also believe that there are no coincidences and that everything happens for a reason. There's always that greater plan that we might not see at the moment....
Like my husband would say...I'm Mrs. Optimist.....
And as the saying goes....if Life hands you Lemmons...make some Lemmonade....
I find Life Fair....actually even better than fair...if I'm healthy and those that I love too...for me right then and there...we're happy and wealthy....Good Health is of primary importance to me. When you got that..you can enjoy everything or live through whatever it might be.

We have had our share of tragedy in my family and through it all I still have to say life is fair. Life is what you make of it. Instead of burying ourselves in depression when we lose someone, we find something good out of it. For example, my brother died, we miss him terribly, but the "good" that came our of his death, was bringing a family that had practically fallen apart closer together, to which they remain to this day, it helped a young kid on the verge of disaster turn his life around and grow up and mature into a great man.
Jobs, whenever I was down on my luck thinking the world would end something ALWAYS came up, that was even better than before.
Of course there are some things in life that are unfair, but it is those things that make us stronger.
I always think how unfair it is for a child to suffer with an illness, but think of all that child is gaining and helping others to gain too, We all suffer at some time in life, but it makes us stronger, tougher and more determined to keep going.

Completely agree. I always look at a negative situation and say that it could always be worse, because in reality, it could be. Have to look at things positivly and be grateful for what happened and realize what could've happened.

I usually an optimistic person, so I'd have to say it's usually fair.
Yes, bad things happen to good people - but that could be becsue that person can handle it - or because there's some bigger lesson to learn from it all.
And good things happen to bad people - but that could mean there are bad things out there waiting for them, to catch up with them...
