Licorice chips
try the Milleridge Inn, my grandpa use to love licorice chips. At one time you were able to buy them at the flea market in Levittown.

OMG, I remember these. I just googled to see what it was and I totally remember these (and liked them). Haven't seen them in probably 25 or more years.

I know! i'm tryimg to find them for my grandfather, he ate them all the time when i was little!

look at the site nassaucandy.com it located in Hicksville, they have all kinds of candy
I can remember but a few small shops sell old candy.
If you find it let me know
When you grandma ate them was the wrapping red/black/white dots?

Yes that's the wrapper! I saw that site nassaucandy. Looks like they have them but not sure if it's a store, theybwere closed today.
I might just order from Amazon.

They sell a variety of flavors of these "chips" I remember getting a mix. Call and see if they have licorice and if they sell it seperately. It's sold by the pound.
