lh surge during AF?
I used my OPK last night and got a smiley. We BD...but a little while after there was a TOUCH of blood. Could this be AF? Can I get a smiley right before AF??
So confused.

What cycle day are you on and what is your average cycle length? Some people spot during ovulation so that could possibly be what it was.

I have no idea...thats the problem...
My cycles are SO off...I have a really irregular AF. My cyles have been 50days, 37 days, all over the place.
I guess I have to just see what happens. I thought I was ovulating now because I have EWCM.

you could be spotting from O, and also sometimes people spot a little bit after BDing as well. I would just just keep on BDing and using opks until AF comes on full force (or until a bfp of course!)

Could the blood just be from BD? I would think thats what it is. Also, I have had EWCM this month AFTER O (7DPO+), so since you don't know what day you're on the EWCM doesn't necessary mean O, unfortunately. But the  is never wrong!

Thank you! I tested yesterday and there was a but today there wasnt...i wasnt albe to test Thurs because I was busy. so if my surge was thurs and yesterday....should I BD today too?

that seems a little odd to have a surge 2 days apart. usually the first would indicate "O" would be betweek 12-36 hours later

I don't have an answer for you! However, I happened to have had a blood test to test my hormone levels a few weeks ago. I just so happened to have my period (2nd day of it full force) when I had the test done. The doctor said my LH level was really high. I was originally having the blood work bc I have all of a sudden been having irregular periods (46 days). If you are having irregular cycles it might be temp. be effecting your hormone levels. I would definitely call the doctor and let her know. I wouldn't be concerned but I think it is definitely something worth asking about.
